Cardigan was very fun in general, but the first day is always the most stressful for something. You don’t know if its a nice place, or if the foods edible, and after going, I could say a definite yes to both the questions. At first we started out getting an introduction to the people who worked there and played some games, soon we were introduced to the leader of the group we would be in. We at lunch after getting ready for the short hike after. During said hike, we were told some steps of the forest and what to and what not to do which is an example of Human Environment Interaction, which is a theme of Geography! where humans and nature interact with each other. We were helping nature stay clean and stay away from the bad parts of nature, so it does not kill us. Soon we got down to a river with an island in the middle, we were told to sketch anything there, so I thought it was a good idea to stand on a rock to get a better view of the surroundings. Of course the rock was very slippery and I fell in the water. After that incident we had a pond study which we found a water scorpion which was eventually crushed. Soon it got time for dinner where we ate amazing food, and shortly it was time for bed. In the cabins they were spacious and comfortable.
